Winston

MILLBURY & SUTTON – Winston, 11, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2023, surrounded by those who loved him most.

Winston was a very active Old English Bulldog who loved to be around people.  He enjoyed being at family functions and seeing friends, never resting while people were around.  Winston would give you that look and head turn to let you know he was watching.     

Winston grew up in Millbury and enjoyed running after and chewing on his deflated football's and frisbee's in the funeral home parking lot.  After the family moved to Sutton, he enjoyed walks in the woods, playing in the snow and tug of war in the backyard.  Those who knew Winston will remember his fascination with light, shiny spots on the wall, shadows and he loved laying in the sunlight.   

Most of all Winston loved spending time on Ramshorn Pond during the summer months.  Being around the water and on the boat in his life jacket was where he was the happiest.  He was a very good swimmer, even though people thought he would sink to the bottom.   Winston loved swimming after his water toys and attacking any float or paddle that he saw, which of course were his!!!   

Winston leaves his owner and best friend, Matthew Mulhane and many other close family and friends that loved Winston.  He will always be loved, remembered and missed.

Winston’s life will be celebrated on Ramshorn Pond in the summer months with family and friends.
